Ooze, Orange Sludge

The sentient remnants of someone imbibed with the orange sipopa drug. An aberration.

Immagine a slithering pool of deep orange goo. It coats all it touches with translucent orange goo that smells of grapefruit. Sometimes, it takes the shape of limbs or body parts, but never for long. It wants drugs, and its old body.

Highly sensitive, lethargic and envious

HD: 3 Armor: none
Hit it: easy Dodge it: normal
Move: slow

It is immune to piercing and bludgeoning damage (because it’s gelatinous). It resists mind attacks (because it’s an aberration) and slashing damage. It can squeeze through small holes. It can’t die unless it’s would-be killer saves.

Attacks (1/round)

Pseudo-Kick. The orange sludge makes a melee attack (1D6). If the target has less than 5 fortitude, it falls prone.

Pseudo-Punch. The orange sludge makes a melee attack (1D6). If the target wears iron armor pieces and weapons, it rolls a D8. If the result is below the number of iron armor pieces and weapons, one of them becomes dulled (its damage becomes 1D4) or brittle (it breaks on a critical hit).

Envelop. The orange sludge lets itself drop from a ceiling on a target. If it fails to dodge, it becomes completely covered by it. It can’t breathe and each round must decide if it takes 1D6 damage from the sludge entering their throat or loses one of their iron items to rust.

Orange sludges are a creation of Jacob Hurst, Evan Peterson, and Donnie Garcia found in Hot Springs Island. The creatures are not statted in the book, so I made my own version. — SaltyGoo
